David Troth Wright is a graduate of the Pratt Institute of the Arts, and has a BFA in Film. He is currently a Senior Video Editor at the advertising agency BMG360 (formerly Thesis). There, he’s focused primarily on video editing, but has also written videos, filmed content, performed competitor research, and analyzed performance metrics to gauge success. Before BMG360, he freelanced as a video editor and videographer from 2013. He has worked dozens of weddings as the lead videographer for Your Wedding Film, and he has done work for Wizards of the Coast, The Kennedy Center Honors Society, Daily Harvest, Athletic Greens, Mindful Care, Wandering Bear Coffee, The Perfect Jean, Nuts.com, The Wedding Salon, The National Science Foundation, Anne Bowen Bridal, Greensbury Market, nature documentarian Kate Gilroy, and the Caretta Research Project, among others. He has won multiple awards, including Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice Awards in 2019 and 2020, and has many Best in Show and Best in Category awards for fan based video editing contests at pop culture conventions across the US. He is also a licensed drone pilot.
